一、Project purpose： The purpose of this project is to provide administrative assistance to EPA for Establishing air quality purification area (hereinafter called aquapu area)system and related works、and also evaluate each aquapu site for their planting、construction and maintenance quality. 二、Method and results： This project has to produce following results： 1.Establishment of aguapu area application procedures. 2.Establishment of aguapu area maintenance and evaluation guide lines. 3.Provide method to eliminate exposed soil area in urban environment. 4.Held five meetings to explain the content of aquapu area application procedures. 5.Inventory and assessment of newly applied aquapu areas（43 sites）. 6.Assisting EPA to held newly applied aquapu area evaluation meetings 7.Follow up inventory of approved aquapu areas（135 sites）. 8.Establishment of computer data bank for aquapu area system. 9.Accomplish three grass protection mattress installation projects. 10.Held seminar on aquapu area. 11.Held aquapu area festival and visiting and learning tour（3 activities）. 三、Conclusion and Suggestion： This project has been accomplished according to the timing and content requirements of the contract. Related suggestions are as follows： 1.Expansion scheme of aquapu area system has been proposed. 2.Continuously require local government to closely follow the aquapu area application procedures when apply. 3.Enhancement of aquapu area’s maintenance quality. 4.County government to materialize county level evaluation work. 5.Continual aquapu area related promotional activities are strongly recommended. 6.Materializing and enhancement of maintenance adoption program is recommended. 7.Upgrade local government personnel’s professional ability. 8.Materializing of award program. 9.Subsidizing items of exposed soil area greenization are recommended. 10.Study the relationships between plant and air quality. 11.Computerlization of aquapu area rela
